Breeding

At Lisardo Castro, they work with trusted farmers and select thefinest Iberian pigs, raised in the vast pastures of Salamanca, Extremadura, and Andalusia, where they arefree to roam.

The animals are fed a diet of 100% natural cereals.

Iberian pigs are fed exclusively on acorns, grass, and fresh water for at least two montanera seasons.

The entire breeding process adheres to environmentally respectful practices and stays true to the principles of sustainable farming.
